The rules, in plain words.

TokenLowCost gives you API access to AI models from many providers through one endpoint. You pay for requests from a prepaid balance, at the prices on the pricing page.

During the beta, prices are a tenth of each model's list price. When a provider changes its list price, ours follows. Each request is billed at the price in effect when it was made.

The models are run by their providers. Their answers can be wrong, and a model can be slow or unavailable at times. Check anything important before you rely on it.

• One account per person.
• Use an email address you can read. Password resets are sent there.
• Keep your password and keys private. Requests made with your keys are paid from your balance, whoever sends them. If a key leaks, revoke it in the dashboard.
• You're responsible for what you send through the API and for how you use the answers.

Every new account gets $50 on its balance at sign-up. It's added automatically, with no card or payment.

• One per person. We check the email address and the network (IP address) of each sign-up. If either one already received the credit, the new account starts at $0.
• Addresses that reach the same inbox count as one, such as name+tag@ addresses and Gmail addresses with dots added.
• The credit is spent on requests like the rest of your balance. It can't be withdrawn, refunded, sold or moved to another account.
• We may change the amount or end the offer at any time. Credit already on a balance stays there, unless the account is banned.

• Extra accounts. Signing up more than once, or with fake, throwaway or someone else's details, whether for more welcome credit or anything else.
• Hiding repeat sign-ups. Using VPNs, proxies, scripts or bots to sign up again and again, or to get past the one-credit-per-person check.
• Selling or sharing access. Selling, renting, trading or publicly posting accounts, keys or credit, or reselling access to TokenLowCost through your own service.
• Cheating the billing. Getting around key limits, the balance or a ban, or using a bug to get requests or credit you didn't pay for. Found a bug like that? Don't use it.
• Attacking the service. Flooding it with requests, probing it for holes, or trying to get into other people's accounts or data.
• Illegal or harmful use. Anything illegal, or anything the model providers' usage policies forbid, such as malware, fraud, spam, or sexual content involving minors.

We may ban an account that breaks these rules, and we don't have to warn first.

• A banned account can't log in. Every key it has stops working and gets a 403 error.
• Its balance can no longer be used, welcome credit and top-ups included.
• Accounts linked to it can be banned too, for example ones signed up from the same network to collect more credit.
• A new account made after a ban is banned as well.

We may update these rules as the service grows. The date at the top shows the last change. If you keep using TokenLowCost after a change, the new rules apply to you.
